Workshop 10: Coptic Bookbinding

Instructor:  Jodie McGovern

Join this fun workshop where you will make a 5½ x 8½ sketchbook with heavyweight vellum paper.  The coptic binding method employs sewing as a means of holding the book pages together.  No glue is used!  This allows the book to lay flat when open – a boon to sketchers.  A variety of heavy weight scrapbook paper will be provided to use as front and back covers.

Please bring a bone folder if you have one.  All other materials will be provided.
